It tells the story of three very different families competing for the same 1920s Spanish-style villa, which they believe will solve all their problems. The exterior shots of the house look like the same house that Mitchell and Cam lived in on American Family. Rating 6.8, why!? I would give 8.5 if possible. I experienced it as a 24-hour period of time. Okay, a bit corny at times, but I just really like the cast and acting, they seem warm and soulful, and the murder mystery is interesting enough with a bit of a twist, although not all that dark and grim. The story is light and interesting, but there is some darkness in it because of the main plot line. How beautiful, but not too spectacular piece of dark chocolate, covered with strawberry glaze. Try it and you won’t be disappointed. Don’t expect crime drama or gritty realism. This is a charming comedy with a dark touch.
