Hugh Jackman said he really didn’t play the role of Wolverine after Logan (2017)
Synopsis
Deadpool is offered a place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe by the Time Variance Authority, but instead recruits a variant of Wolverine to save his universe from extinction. He then said he regretted that statement after watching the first Deadpool film, and expressed to Ryan his interest in seeing the two characters meet on the big screen. When asked why he decided to return for this film, he simply said, “I just wanted to do it, and I had a gut feeling about it,” adding that he wanted to have the best time possible ever on a movie set alongside Ryan Reynolds. Likewise, Reynolds has wanted to work with Jackman since the first Deadpool film and was sad when he (Jackman) left the role..

We saw this at the midnight premiere at Imperial Copenhagen. It was a fun experience meeting people in the middle of the night for a new movie and gathering fans who love this franchise as much as we do.
But what do I know?
The movie was very entertaining in its entirety, but it seemed like they just had to come up with something to have fun with. Don’t get me wrong, Ryan Reynolds does a phenomenal job and some scenes are just way too funny. But there was something missing that I somehow can’t explain, it just seemed to me like they could have come up with a better story. I say give it a try and you’ll at least laugh at the end.
