Nurse Red: I’m getting chills just thinking about it
Synopsis
A detective and a nun investigate a series of gruesome crimes that seem personal while grappling with personal issues and uncovering a sinister web that raises more questions than answers. Ed Lachlan’s Mustang is the same color and has the same number plate as the Italian works car 2WQI332.
Ryan Murphy usually starts off strong with an intriguing story angle and then something gets lost in the sauce
Niecey Nash wouldn’t have been my first choice for the lead detective, but he was fine with me for a while. It’s understandable that she’s drawn to the plot with everything she comes across, but it’s unrealistic that she’d be allowed to continue working in her country.
Long drawn-out scenes visiting the man are unnecessary
When the "event" the montage in progress makes you believe she is dreaming, as the dialogue and scenery as she follows the order feels like a dream sequence. When I see that he’s actually real, it really got me into the story.
The head nurse makes these scenes very uncomfortable
A streak of 1-2 is good, 3-4 is good and 5-6 is terrible. The theory they are trying to push on us seems to be that the priest is a serial killer.
Not sure why they needed 10 episodes for this mostly filler show
Doctor Who Meets at the Fire Pit is my pick and I wish the show would end now. Unfortunately, the crime scenes are the most interesting part of this show and a reminder of what our human nature is capable of: excess and cruelty.
