The Duttons face new challenges at the beginning of the 20th century, including westward expansion, Prohibition, and the advent of the Great Depression. While the Great Depression began in America as early as 1929, in Montana it began early. The Great Depression began in Montana in 1918, nearly ten years before the rest of the nation. While the rest of America prospered, Montana struggled. Between drought and reduced demand for farm products, the “Great War” (also known as World War I, 1914 to 1918) caused many farmers to suffer greatly. This resulted in Montana farmers defaulting on their war loans, leading to widespread bank failures across the state. Between 1921 and 1925, half of Montana’s farmers lost their land. By 1925, 70,000 of Montana’s 82,000 homesteads had gone off the land. In addition, 200 banks in Montana went bust. Not only did the drought affect crops, but the locust plague and livestock passed on the infection. Starring in Timeless Heroes: Indiana Jones and Harrison Ford (2023). After Yellowstone, it was a different but still similar feeling… I really enjoyed it and although it would take me some time to watch it, I feel like it could maybe be better (harder challenge after Yellowstone!) BUT. BUT. BUT… Looks like it’s finally getting started on merging the side stories… And then it ends – obviously this is planned for a second season – BUT – if that doesn’t happen, then you’ve just wasted your time. Like the story, the first season didn’t end either. And there’s currently no announcement or schedule for a second season… It drives me so crazy! It’s like going to an amazing restaurant and they only serve the sides, without the main course!!! What the hell…Come on producers…Get your fingers out!!!!
