The site, known as Beaver Bank Villa, has a long history and many years ago contained housing units, a community hall, a fire station, a school, a church, a general store, etc. (all demolished by 2004) to support workers at a nearby military radar station that operated in the 1950s and 1960s. Only the paved streets and alleys remain, and the mock city is built on them.
The rope is not thrown by Martin

Seasons 1 & amp; 2 are flashy, but they unnecessarily stretch out the episodes in season 3, which is annoying
The episode 3 of season 3 is good, but then they build up some situations that don’t connect us emotionally with the situation and mostly I rushed through some unnecessary conversations with the characters. It used to be very exciting, but now it’s become a drama that seems out of place. I think after the first episode of season 3, the remaining 8 episodes can really be compressed to 3 episodes max.
Maybe they have plans for another season
But this method of extending episodes is not suitable as many fans including me find it annoying. Hopefully they will fix the problem next season.
