I watched the film on the last night of the AFI festival and was again in awe of Eastwood’s work.
Despite the modest budget, it was a richly created and impressive film
I really admire his humanistic vision of his community, which this film beautifully conveyed. Although the story was somewhat predictable, the journey from start to finish was smooth and thoughtful, showcasing his unique approach throughout. Unlike many recent films, it ended at the perfect moment with a fitting gesture.
