Posted on: 12 Dec, 2017 7:48 pm

Additional information was obtained from government agencies, commercial banks and the fishing community. The results of this study suggest that structural adjustment has created benefits, opportunities and constraints for the fisheries. The Ghanaian government, with the support of international donors, needs to address these issues to ensure that fisheries continue to play an important role in the economy and the diet of Ghanaians.
