Synopsis
Follow Rupert Campbell-Black and Tony Baddingham as they have a long-standing rivalry that comes to a head. Coincidentally, Aidan Turner has previously filmed at Chavenage House (The Priory in Rivals). The same filming location was also used to portray Trenwith House in the BBC’s 2015 TV adaptation of Poldark. I haven’t read the books so I can’t say how accurate it is.
And great escapism
However, I can say that I really enjoyed this series and really hope there is a second season. It’s a bit cheesy. But it’s great TV. I managed to watch the whole thing in 2 days.
I wish there were more episodes
However, it’s nice that they didn’t drag things out too long. David Tennant is great as usual. But I was actually more surprised by how good Danny Dyer was. I’ve seen him in a few movies.
But he was brilliant
(Who hasn’t?) And I was a little skeptical about seeing him in this movie. There are so many characters I love and so many I loved to hate. Too many to list them all. I highly recommend it.
