Synopsis
Original stories set in the worlds of cult video games are featured in this animated anthology series. Video games have made a huge leap to the screen, and we’re celebrating the genre by taking a closer look at more than 50 video game adaptations in movies and shows. Clive Standen will once again voice Demetrius Titus, the main character from the video game Space Marine 2.
The animation is beautiful, that’s for sure
But it’s hard to get excited about episodes that are so short. They seem to be what college students want. It’s impossible to fully engage because you know it’s over before you can connect with the characters.
Reeves and Arnie are both good actors
It was nice to see some big names involved. It’s just a little too experimental and lacking in depth for me. Also, if I had the chance to choose the source material.
The Pacman episode wasn’t bad
I think I would have chosen a completely different set of games to worship. But it was a demonstration of taking artistic freedom to the absolute limit. At least it made me laugh.
