Synopsis
A patient therapist starts telling his clients what he thinks
Ignoring his training and ethics, he ends up making a huge difference in people’s lives, including his own. The cast of “Downsizing” shares key moments that defined their characters in season one and reveals who the best Harrison Ford impersonator is. When Brett Goldstein, Jason Siegel and Bill Lawrence were asked how they got Harrison Ford on the show, Siegel said Goldstein initially wanted a “Harrison Ford type” and would audition people who looked like Ford. Siegel told Goldstein they should at least introduce him to Ford first, thinking he would immediately turn it down, but at least other people would know Harrison Ford had gotten the project, which would pique interest from other famous actors.
Jason Segel is perfect for this scenario
Eventually, Goldstein talked to Ford and convinced him to take the role. Goldstein still doesn’t understand what he did to convince him, but he was still thrilled.. Featured on WatchMojo: The 10 Best TV Shows of 2023 (So Far) (2023). And the rest of the show is great, too.
And Jessica is perfect
He has a weird, idiotic, confident energy for the role. Her humor is perfect for the dialogue. This is a new kind of situational dramedy. No real jokes, just engaging personalities with a touch of fantasy and family circumstances that are a little out of the ordinary, but still relevant.
It’s just impossible
Of course, Jimmy’s behavior as a therapist is completely absurd. You would immediately lose your license. But let’s allow metaphorical situations in drama. And in this scenario, we feel a strong determination in the decisions.
For me, it’s easy and fun
We have to give the writers a leg up and try to capture the essence of it. Other reviewers seem to have struggled.
