Segel told Goldstein that they had to take it to Ford first, thinking he would reject it outright, but at least other people would hear that Harrison Ford had brought the project, which would pique the interest of other big actors. Eventually, Goldstein talked to Ford and sold him the role. Goldstein still doesn’t understand what he did to convince him, but he was excited nonetheless.

From the reviews I read here, people either love the show or they don’t, and it seems like it depends on how reviewers react to Jason Segal. I loved his movies and think he’s perfect for the role – and the addition of Harrison Ford takes the show to an even higher level. The writing is excellent, the story is fresh and the characters are original without falling into the cliched outlandish.
We highly recommend it!
The relationships are complex and emotional and the very real human challenges are well portrayed. It can have you laughing out loud one minute and crying the next. After the second episode, I was really disappointed when I realized I would have to wait for more episodes.
