Highlights in 60 Minutes: Red Sea Crisis/Fake Voters/The Search for Cillian Murphy (2024). My eyes were absolutely glued to the screen from start to finish while watching this film. The amount of dialogue-free scenes that have so much atmosphere and emotion is simply incredible. Cillian Murphy is absolutely incredible in this film, as I expected him to be. But the emotion he conveys in this film and the way he acts through his body language and facial expressions is just fantastic. He really is one of the best actors of this generation. Emily Watson is amazing as the Mother Superior. The tension she brings to every scene is fantastic. It really shows how horrible some nuns were back then. This film was a perfect 1 hour and 45 minutes long. It even felt longer because of how much I was involved. The score and cinematography were so simple yet so effective. They both really added so much to the film and gave it the finishing touches it needed. Overall, the film was absolutely amazing and very enjoyable to watch. I would love to see more films like this in the future. “If you want to get ahead in life, there are things you have to ignore in order to get ahead.” Eileen Furlong.
