/marble kitchen counter and a noise similar to the sound of something plastic being put down can be heard. VOSS water bottles are made of glass, which is featured prominently in the film, so the sound does not match the actions seen. .
Repair of the (good) original
Appeared in The 7PM Project: October 17, 2024 episode (2024). Naomi Scott’s performance is outstanding, so convincing and believable in the role that it elevates the film as a whole. The other characters are good, e.g.
Rosemary DeWitt, but 'Smile 2' very much Scott’s film
The turnaround time is perhaps a bit longer than it should be, though honestly that’s only a minor criticism in the grand scheme of things. Much of what’s on screen helps offset any (minor) pacing issues, the violence and gore is pretty obvious but well done and let’s be real, exactly what we want to see from this type of production. I will say that there are too many cheap jump scares, which I’m not a big fan of, but as before, it’s not a concept that detracts from the overall quality of the end result.
