Journalists tour some fishing communities in the four coastal regions of Ghana
Twenty (20) journalists from fifteen (15) media houses have toured eight fishing communities in the Western, Central, Greater Accra and Volta regions in Ghana under the auspices of the USAID/UCC Fisheries and Coastal Management Capacity Building Support Project. The three-day tour and training program is in an effort to build the capacity of media practitioners in effective reportage on fisheries and environmental issues in Ghana. The program was organized by the Centre for Coastal Management (CCM) in collaboration with the Department of Fisheries and Aquatic sciences (DFAS) of the University of Cape Coast.
